A cohort may offer in-classroom and live virtual attendance concurrently. Both options use the same 12-hour live instructor-led curriculum and the same 12-hour guided self-paced component.

In-Classroom

Live In-Classroom Training

12 hours of face-to-face classroom instruction plus 12 hours of guided self-paced coursework completed before the first live class.

Virtual Classroom

Live Instructor-Led Virtual Classroom Training

$499

12 hours of scheduled, synchronous instructor-led instruction with continuous camera-visible attendance, plus 12 hours of guided self-paced LMS coursework completed before the first live class.

Completion Standard

Complete all 24 hours, submit required documentation, participate personally, and earn at least 80 percent on required Academy work. The 80 percent threshold is an Academy policy; California law does not prescribe a statewide passing percentage for the 24-hour training.

Enrollment Confirmation

Submitting this form requests cohort information. A seat is not reserved until the Academy confirms availability and provides payment instructions.

Certificate of Completion

Successful participants receive a Bridging Families Academy Certificate of Completion identifying the verified live attendance modality and education hours.

Enrollment Process

What Happens After You Request Enrollment?

The Academy confirms the cohort and seat before requesting payment, then provides the training-portal and pre-class instructions needed to complete the program.

  2. Academy Confirms Your SeatYou receive written confirmation of the cohort dates, format, tuition, deadlines, and applicable enrollment terms.
  3. Complete Tuition PaymentPayment instructions are provided only after your seat is confirmed.
  4. Receive Training Portal AccessYour individual portal account provides the guided self-paced coursework and required pre-class materials.
  5. Complete the 12 Self-Paced HoursFinish the required coursework and submit all required certificates and assignments by check-in before live instruction begins.
  6. Attend All 12 Live HoursParticipate through Live In-Classroom Training or Live Instructor-Led Virtual Classroom Training for the scheduled cohort.
  7. Meet the 80% Academy StandardAfter all completion requirements are verified, eligible participants receive the Academy Certificate of Completion.

Virtual Classroom Technology and Learning Environment

Virtual participants need reliable broadband internet, a compatible computer or tablet, current browser and LMS access, a working camera and microphone, and a private professional learning environment. The Academy may verify identity and attendance through identification checks, an enrollment-matched display name, instructor logs, platform reports, roll calls, LMS records, polls, knowledge checks, timed check-ins, visible-camera confirmation, and participation records.

Accessibility:

Live automated closed captioning is available during Live Instructor-Led Virtual Classroom Training through Zoom. Participants who require additional accessibility accommodations should contact Bridging Families Academy in advance of the scheduled class.

Personal course access:

Each paid participant receives individual course-platform access. Login credentials and virtual-classroom links may not be shared, forwarded, or transferred.

Local-court acceptance must be confirmed before enrollment:

Bridging Families Academy is an independent training provider. Its California Professional Supervised Visitation and Exchange Services Provider Training is designed to align with the training requirements of California Family Code §3200.5 and California Standard of Judicial Administration 5.20. Individual courts may have additional local requirements or may determine what training documentation they will accept. Prospective students are responsible for reviewing the current local requirements in the jurisdiction where they intend to practice before enrolling or paying tuition.
